This past weekend Nick and I went to Washington for the consecration of Roger Ames, my former boss, as bishop. When we arrived there was a lovely blanket of snow across the ground. It made for beautiful scenery and muffled sounds. After a few days, though, we were glad to return to our 70F weather in almost always sunny, SC. Here's a bit of what we saw:
